So you are of the opinion that a 1 loss Big 12 champion gets into a 4 game playoff ahead of one of 4 undefeated conference championship teams? Texas getting in in that scenario is less likely than that scenario taking place. Texas has to win out and at least one conference champion has to have a loss, most likely the PAC 12 Champion because a one loss ACC, SEC or Big 10 champ is getting in, period. If the Big 12 and Pac 12 champs both have one loss the PAC 12 is probably left out...there is a pretty good chance that a one loss SEC loser of the SEC CG gets in ahead or a one loss BIG 12 champ.

There should be no way that if Alabama and Texas both win out, and that is a huge if on the Texas side, bama should get in over Texas just because of the head to head loss in Tuscaloosa. But stranger things have happened.

Calm down booster. All of this stuff will work itself out in the coming weeks. The Pac & B1G will cannibalize themselves and Texas will have 1 ridiculous loss in conference play.

Here is the problem: You beat Bama head to head but if Bama wins out, you have the last loss between the two of you. If Bama beats #1 Georgia in the CCG then you may get the same thing you got in 2008 for the exact same reason even if you do get OU back.
One thing I'm grateful for about a 12 team playoff is that the head to head vs. who lost last isn't going to be a judgement call for the higher ranked teams.
BTW, you Horn fans better root for OU to win out if you expect to get in over an Ohio State Michigan loser, a one loss Bama or Georgia or a one loss second place PAC team.
