So you are of the opinion that a 1 loss Big 12 champion gets into a 4 game playoff ahead of one of 4 undefeated conference championship teams?

To be fair, he is probably saying that the odds of there being 4 undefeated teams are very slim, historically speaking. And I tend to agree. I think there will be one, maybe two undefeated teams.

12-1 Oklahoma
12-1 Georgia
12-1 Oregon
11-1 Michigan
11-1 Penn State

that would be a nightmare for the CFP

I want 12-0 OU vs 11-1 Texas

If we lose, then I hope you lose every game.
If you beat us again, then I hope you lose in the playoffs..

Sorry, not sorry.

No need, I hold my nose and pull for Texass under one circumstance: So that they are a good win for OU. If that is no longer necessary, they can burn.

And that's the way it should be. Only root for Texas/Oklahoma if it benefits those teams. If Oklahoma slips up then let them eat shite.

If I was a betting man I would bet the house that Texas will find a way to lose at least one more game before the committee chooses the 4.
Prove me wrong.

We've still got a shot at #1 at season's end. Just need to make it to the rematch with OU as step

Great attitude! A&M also can win out, still possibly win the West, beat GA in Champ game and then be ranked #1. Sure, sure. I believe it too! Cough, cough.

Still not living in reality? You do realize that Texas has nothing but powderpuffs left in the Big 12 with a combined record for the remaining teams = 12-15 record. Not helping any of your dreams.

Texas had their chance, in a horribly weak league with just one single strong team and crapped the bed. Hard to recover in such a bad conference even if you manage to upset OU in Big 12 Championship.

Same can be said of my Aggies.
We were setup to win the West and Bama came to play. Sadly, A&M has a better chance as being higher rated at end of season considering their schedule.

No worry Horn fans...there is always next year!!

Half the teams in CFB still have a shot at #1. Some more than others. Beating them in December, may not be enough to matter. You may not be playing them in December.

You do realize we beat the team that just beat you on your home field right? I would pipe down if I was you. Because we are coming back in to step on your throat again.

And that matters why? Be proud of that Bama win and put it in your trophy case as a "paper" win.

Texas simply choked away a very easy path to the CFP. Simple as that. But that is life in the Big 12 for Texas. Always an easy path...never a bone in their body.

Be pissed at everyone else and keep claiming how superior and deserving your team is.

Crickets....Texas fans will never learn with your bleached white shirts and shiney belt buckles in the liberal city of Austin. Driving away from the game in your Teslas.

I mean theoretically, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the No. 9 team can vault into the top 4 after winning 7 straight to end the season. Especially when at least some teams in front of them are guaranteed to lose based on the fact that they play other teams in front of Texas. Of course, that's hypothetical and Texas needs to take care of their own business first, which will be a very tall task.

Yea and their non-conference was a joke, too! They totally got creamed in Tusca... oh wait. Well, that Alabama team sucks and has already lost several other ga... oh wait. Well at least a&m will take care of them at ho... oh wait

Yup! Nothing says primed for success like being unranked and looking for your first road win in over 2 calendar years!!
