Should be a great series.

One of these two teams is finally going to have success in Omaha for the first time in their history. Good times.

longhorn might as well drown your tears while you watch your new master play for a national championship.

I'm torn.. I don't want either team to win..

We should get equal parts glory and agony as a result of this matchup.

So it’s essentially a push

I predict Aggony.

Tennessee (the real UT), this is your chance to not only be champions of life, but to be champions of baseball.

We didn't even have to raid the funding for a children's hospital to do it!

Yeah, y’all choked down in that CWS. Lost to Oregon st 14-1 and 12-0 and eliminated. What’s up with that man. I thought you were the conference crown bearer.

I guess it wouldn’t make sense for this to be a Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule…

Yeah frick the players, coaches, and fans, Friday doesn't get the tv numbers that Monday gets.

I'm so over the networks controlling everything.

I imagine the players would like the extra day of rest.

teams are pretty evenly ranked across most stats - it's always the little things in Omaha that create the game changing innings - pitching/defense are paramount at this point of the CWS -

Aggies pitchers have more hit batters on the season - 75/49 - they also have more wild pitches 37/23 - both of those things can lead to innings getting away from a team unexpectedly when they happen at the worst time -

Aggies seem to control runners on the base paths better with just 19 swipes allowed in 33 attempts compared to 52 given up for UTK in 68 attempts even with 16 pickoffs at 1B -

fieldinig % - errors - fielding double plays all 3 about even for both teams on the season -

whoever avoids disaster and plays up the big moments will win it - there is little separation of talent between these two teams -

They could start the CWS on a Thursday instead of Friday then. All season long the weekend series are either Fri-Sat-Sun or occasionally Thu-Fri-Sat.
