I can't name any when I was a little kid. I was a longhorn fan. And then I matured.
If it's Schloss, he just allowed his new boss to frick with the heads of the kids on his team playing for the national championship. I hope he is not that kind of person, but, who knows?
I imagine the players would like the extra day of rest.

I grew up a Longhorn fan, (Dad went there). Arkansas was always the big game in our house in the 50s and 60s.
