To be fair, South Carolina has played 3 of the Top 5 offenses in the SEC (Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama). Texas A&M has played 1 (LSU).

SC has some real talent on defense, I think this should be a low scoring game. That freshman Stewart is legit.

That's the thing that we don't get to see as fans though. Practice matters. If Conner is killing it in practice this week and Elko thinks he'll give us the best chance to win, he'll start. I won't complain either way as I trust Elko's judgement.

Wiegman will most likely start. You will probably see Reed as well.
What we saw from Weigman against Missouri was not a fluke. If receivers get open, he can be deadly. But, we've got a mediocre receiving corps that often doesn't get open. ND did a great job on covering our receivers, and LSU had pretty good coverage, too. When you're up against that, might as well try the RPO game, which simply isn't Weigman's thing.
I don't know which approach would be best against USC. But, whichever way we go, if it isn't working, we'll try the other.
