It wasn’t clear cut targeting. I think it was a fair call. Helmet to helmet doesn’t automatically mean targeting.

In real time, I didn’t think it was but on the replay wasn’t sure how you don’t call it.

I can’t stand the rule, at all, but that was it to a T. Terrible no call. Too much money involved for Tejas to not have it go their way.

Ball was caught too close to defender for him to take a lower tackle.
No launch.
No crown of helmet.
Slight dip of chin so he didn’t make contact facemask first.
Targeting requires more than helmet to helmet.

It looked like defender face mask to receiver helmet. A targeting call would have been a travesty.
