We keep hearing about Arkansas being a "bottom feeder" and "not that good" despite beatdowns on 2 ranked teams (yes collie boys, the aTm win was a beatdown) yet Ole Miss is going to challenge Bama and ultimately, one would guess, Georgia for the SEC championship?

What is this hype based on? 2018 saw OM finish 3-7 and 1-7, 2019 4-8 and 2-6 and 2020 5-5 and 4-5, including a 33-21 loss to "bottom feeder" Arkansas.

This year certainly brings nothing to support such hype. Do wins over Louisville, division 1AA Austin Peay and Tulane suddenly make the Rebs the '85 Chicago Bears? Giving up 260 rushing yards and 144 passing to Austin Peay?

I just don't get it. Somebody help me out here.

My prediction is Bama by 4 TDs.

Lane Kiffin sounded like he was interviewing for USC on Finebaum. I suspect Corral and Kiffin will be outta there soon.

Bama's kryptonite has been badass QB's and Corral is a badass QB.

It's really that simple.

I don't know if I've seen a team get praised more for losing than they did after last year's Bama game.

I believe the offense is very good at Ole Miss but the defense is lacking. Kiffin vs. Saban is a storyline for the media and ESPN and they’re always going to run with it. All they’ve talked about with Ole Miss since the start of the season has been the Alabama game, simply because they scored quite a few points on them last season.

They continue to ignore the Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, and LSU losses as well.

So to answer your question…I think the media is responsible for a lot of the hype surrounding this game. Alabama put up 63 points last season.

Ole Miss opened as a 20 point dog. What hype are you referring to

The only real reason for their hype is that they have a media darling as their head coach and they’ve ran up the score on some really shitty teams. Plain and simple as that. They will be exposed in their next two games. Corral is pretty good but our defense completely humiliated him last year and our defense has only gotten better. We picked him off 6 times in one game last year. Imagine what we’ll do now that we’ve got a decent pass rush and depth all around. Ole Miss is the definition of overrated.

People love a sexy offense. And we have the sexiest offense in the country.

Plus everyone has a strong opinion about Kiffin (some love, some hate).

Because of our offense, a Heisman contending QB, and our coach it's an easy story to sell.

Who have you heard that has already crowned Ole Miss? Forgive us if we think we have a chance this season to make some noise. Nobody is claiming us as national Champs or anything. Calm down, Kemosabe.

You should have posted this up front so everyone would know you’re an idiot before reading that novella.

More interested to see if Ole Miss and Kiff' can handle expectations. If they can get off to a hot start I think this will be a 3rd quarter game before Bama pulls away. Also Ole Miss doesn't have that surprise element coming into this game either like last year.

Really hoping the Golding looks at starting the game in nickel, to get a little more speed on the field. Similar to what Arkansas did making Corral read coverages. You guys did an excellent job last year of not allowing him to just get the ball to his first two reads.

Also a misconception about last year game, Ole Miss killed us on jet sweeps and power draws straight up the middle. They actually ran the ball 56 times vs 26 passes.

They converted two draw plays on 3rd and very long I mean 15+ yards back breakers.

Have you scored 70 in a game?
Do you have the top rated QB in the country?

No?
Then you do not have the sexiest offense in the country.

Yep Coral has regressed and you guys are better than the 85 Bears playing the 46 Defense. I predict the Piglets will get at least 12 sacks and 8 INTs this week when they play the Reb…….that’s right we play Bama this weekend and you play the Bulldogs

What hype? We are currently underdogs by 2 TD’s, so what the hell are you talking about?

I think you are totally missing our strength in the running game. We have a 4 deep running game without counting Corral.

I didn't say that he has regressed and I made the objectively true statement that our defense has gotten better. That's the shittiest strawman argument I've ever seen. You may be functionally retarded.

Here's the definition of a strawman argument since you may suffer from retardation and have probably never heard the term: "a weak or imaginary opposition (such as an argument or adversary) set up only to be easily confuted"

Freshwater told Upig to frick OFF over 2 years ago. The swine jealousy over Kiffin rivals LSU’s over Saban telling them to frick OFF!!!
