You’ll be fine as long as you are playing Vandy. Playing Bama? Different story.

They suck but they are far better than ACC officials with a vendetta against you.

They generally rawdog Bama in every big game, and give lesser opponents the benefit of the doubt more often than not.

You’ll hear a lot of claims of “Bama bias” any time a call goes our way, but statistically, our opponents are the least penalized teams in the country every single year. It’s been that way for over a decade.

Bama’s opponents, for example, are called for holding at a rate 250% less than the national average, despite having one of the best pass rushes in the country every year. We just aren’t gonna get those calls.

please stop lol.

Bad calls are one thing, the game is fast, but overall the refs suck.

It's really a better question for the Tiger Rant. It is their field of expertise.

Bama never gets a call on a replay, ever.
Bama punters are assaulted with a ref 10 fr away and they call nothing.
Auburn had 3 players moving at the snap and called Bama for offsides.

You saw it. You are a fan of a blueblood. Expect calls against you or no calls as to give the underdog a decent shot to win. You will be right there with Bama as the most penalized team in the conference every year. Just get used to it.

Both OU and Texas feel we have been screwed the past few years by big 12 refs

Laughable. Very laughable. If anything, it's the other way around for OU and TX over their history.

Every conference is convinced that it has the worst refs.

You guys are going to have a worse entry into the sec than mizzou or atm did. Hell mizzou had an advantage(no one cared).
It'll be similar to how you got everyone's best shot in the big 12(except it'll be sec teams not losers). Rough first couple of years

Historically, this is correct...but rantards at least legit know the rules when they bitch.
Texags has stolen the crown, however. They complain about shite no-calls that are correct.
(e.g.: Nabors' 4th qtr TD catch on Saturday "He may have had it in his hands in the endzone, and had one foot down, but when he landed OOB, THE COCKADOODIE BALL MOVED cuz it hit the COCKADOODIE ground!!"

Also, holding is 100% illegal in the SEC, and will be called EVERY time without fail.

So don't do it.

...and Texags says only LSU is allowed to throw punches, so deal with it.

Calls always go in favor of the newcomers for the first 2 seasons to “ease them in”.

A bunch of Bama alumni and the SEC office is in Birmingham so Bama generally gets a lot of favorable calls.

About the only thing SEC fans agree on.

You thought you had it bad, we have wiki pages on SEC football referees and actual scientists doing statistical studies they are so bad.

The only question is are they just completely incompetent or incompetent and corrupt
