Guess I’ll sit this one out. How can I hate Army and Air Force when we all serve(d) our country?

Show us where UF touched you

I ain’t ever met a LSU fan who didn’t quickly follow up the OP’s question with at least Bama and Ole Miss…the old timers will add aTm but i ain’t ever met a tiger fan who exclusively hated Florida…i mean, i know UF is in the mix for sure but damn bruh

If the IRS had a team cal we all agree it would be 100% American for everyone to hate them?

I went to the Ole Miss/Memphis game in 2019. It was an 11 AM kick and blazing hot.

Some Memphis fans were cool and gave us beers at their tailgate. There were a few who sat by us who just wouldn't stop talking shite, even when it was abundantly clear they were a much better team than us. None of it was ever personally directed to us, although they chirped at a group of Ole Miss students who threw it back at 'em.

I can get on board with hating Team IRS. Matter of fact, I’m not happy with that organization right now.

I honestly don't really hate anyone like I used to. Dislike Florida and Alabama but have cheered for both at various times.

Same. Getting old, having kids and real life issues constantly seems to dull that sort of stuff

1. Tennessee

2. Auburn

Three and four are honestly just because of this place.

3. LSU
4. Georgia

And number five is because of their arrogance and immoral love of dildos.

5. Texas

Also the derby is overrated and your mint juleps taste like they are made from lead pipe tap water mixed with a box premix from a local supermarket clearance section.
Why don’t you try some bourbon like a real man

Well, tell us the story please. I want to know what led up to it and what you did in response.

Nobody has ever spit, peed, or thrown batteries at me during a game. I feel like I'm missing out on an essential part of being an SEC fan.

When Spurrier spurned UT for Florida, though he grew up in the shadow of Neyland, that permanently etched that rivalry in stone

Spurrier made the right choice to go to Florida for 2 reasons:

1. Tennessee was still running a Wing-T when he graduated from Science Hill.

2. Tennessee didn't offer him a scholarship for football. He was only offered a scholarship to play basketball at UT (by Ray Mears). So I don't know that not playing somewhere that didn't offer you a scholarship is "spurning" them.

BTW, Science Hill is 106 miles from Neyland Stadium...so it must have been a huge shadow.
