Can confirm this. I was at the LSU/ OSU BCS title game. The whole 3 day build up was so annoying with all of the OSU hype. Watching LSU handle business and then how they disappeared from the French Quarter afterwards was just glorious.

I've heard similar stories about fans of other schools visiting LSU, Bama, Florida, ATM and even Vandy but hey, that doesn't make me judge a whole fan base. There's bad apples in every barrel.

I actually don't hate any program, but I dooooooaooooooooooooooo have a strong dislike for a few.
#1 is no surprise....F-L-O-R-I-D-A. This started long before 99% of you were even born. But, I was at the Georgia-Florida game of 1973 when the Gators hit a FG with a minute to go in the game and upset the Dawgs, 11-10.
Afterward, this woman dressed in a putrid-looking blue & orange dress (where in the world do Florida people get their sense of fashion???) spat on me as we walked out of the old Gator Bowl and told me and my friends to go to you-know-where.
I said to myself, "never, NEVAHHHH again!!!" will I ever have mercy on these Swamp Bumpkins in my dealings with them!
#2 is Ohio State....need I say anything more? They STINK!!
#3 is Stanford....uppity people who think even their snot is glorious!
#4 is Texas.....they think they know it all, but don't realize they actually annoy those of us who really do! :)

Feel free to add in any other stereotypes, such as Tennessee hillbillies, Arkansas hillbillies etc. This goes back before Florida became "bunch of Yankee guidos from Jersey"... at least I assume it does.

As an LSU fan I dislike Florida but love the rivalry. It actually feels like a for real rivalry instead of the forced aTm shite forced on us by the powers at be. Nobody wants an irrelevant rival.

Florida - big rivalry, their dumb fan base going off the reservation with things like the Tom Petty tribute and Hurricane game
Tennessee - trash fan base. Had to leave the super regional game 1 to protect my 15 year old daughter at the time. Their fans were literally screaming in the back of LSU fans's heads while the security guards just laughed and laughed.
LSU fans who post here might be mildly retarded, but they're all from Lafayette so just ignore them.

I don’t hate Bama. I respect them for what they are and hope we beat the piss out of them every time we play. IT’s everything a good rivalry should be. Passion, great games, memorable plays.
Florida can go to hell. We offer to help them out in a hurricane that they milked and somehow we’re the bad guys and lost two home games because of it? Alleva should’ve gotten fricking fired on the spot. That bullshite heritage with Tom Petty that we somehow offended. Are we going to start playing Living in America and dress up Mike in Red/White/Blue trunks when Carl Weathers dies? Because he’s about as relevant to LSU as Tom Petty to UF given they both were born in the cities where the universities reside. Even going back to the 90s with Spurrier running up the score in games well out of reach. frick them.

I was at that game. I was also at the 1968 51-0 beatdown. When I was growing up I would regularly attend the WLOCP and never once encountered a nasty Florida fan.
Clemson, however...not much to like about their fans. Nasty people.
My only other negative experience with opposing fans happened in Tallahassee. I don't care for FSU one bit.

Dude… again believe what you want but it happened. Maybe it was a fluke and we just sat under the one group that were asshats but it happened. Sorry you think your insecure fanbase is 100% innocent and full of good people who just like bourbon.
