Looked Aggy 2010 up
I'll cut them a little slack since they tied with Oklahoma and they beat both Big 12 title game participants that year.
They then got boat raced by LSU in the Cotton Bowl

Problem is, Aggy didn't just claim they won the Big 12 South, they claimed they straight up won the Big 12 period.

You mean when we should have played for a natty and was screwed by a Barry switzer led media push to campaign for OU even after we beat them head to head? Yeah we won the big 12 that year

We lost when Blake Gideon couldn't catch an int that most high school players would catch.
3 way tie. 2 teams were always going to get screwed and all 3 teams had an argument to move on.
We were better than Oklahoma that year but there was no excuse for losing that game in Lubbock.

It’s not a fake division title
Mizzou was “Co-champions” in 2010 because they had the exact same conference record as the Big12 north representative. But lost head to head.
Texas was the Big12 South Co-champion in 2004 and 2008.

That was absolutely horrific for Gideon. Isn’t Gideon a well respected football coach now? That could’ve turned south for him, so kudos to him for showing character.

Division championships. Directional conference championships / co-championships. It's beneath your dignity. The only thin worse is to falsly claim any kind of championship years or decades after it was not awarded to your team. (A&M, hint, hint).

Mizzou has history of trying to make themselves seem relevant. Their last football “championship “ was a co-conference championship in 1969
