Teams who claim fake division championships

There are plenty of teams with dubious national championship claims. There are many with laughable conference title claims, but this is a layer deeper.
Nobody is impressed with just a division title yet the programs on this list claim at least one division championship they didn't win. How embarrassing.

Here are stats from the 2010 Big 12 Conference Championship Game where Oklahoma defeated Nebraska.
Looking to complete the list. Does anyone know of other teams that do this?

Basically all schools. Just all don't hang banners for it.
The tie breaker system determined the rep in the CCG from each division, but, at least in the SEC, they were technically co-division Champs if they played in CCG or not after tiebreaker was applied

No. For example, I find nothing about Alabama claiming fake division titles on rolltide.com or their media guide.

Here's one that blows my mind - Michigan still has a shrine dedicated to "winning" the Big 12 East in 2018. How embarrassing is that for a blue blood?

After the 2016 season we put division titles up in the Swamp and included 2003 and 2012. Thankfully all of that shite disappeared after Shark fricker was fired.
