The end zone angle clearly showed the Auburn players shoulder hitting the Ole Miss players shoulder first.

I think this one is far more blantant and was very surprised they overturned it.

It doesn't matter what he hit first if the contact to the head and neck area was forcible

His head wouldn't have snapped to the right if that was the case. Try again.

I watched the replay and no way that was targeting....dude hit him in the shoulder pads...even a blind person could see that and I thought so at game speed before the flag.
Next fricking thing the NCAA will want us to play flag football...geez louise.

That is a piss poor angle. The end zone angle clearly shows he hits him shoulder pad to shoulder pad first, then the helmets hit after the initial contact.
It was reversed because the end zone angle made it obvious.
OP is an idiot and needs to find another example for his whining

Devin White also threw his hit super late I think that had a lot to do with it plus it being questionable in the first place.
I don't know about "super late" but I concede you may have a point re: Fitz being a defenseless player at the moment he was hit.

Clear cut case. shite HAPPENS! Refs missed it so how does that effect Bama and LSU fans pizzing down their legs since both teams were hundreds of miles away.

Can u send way to forward that

Was not a defenseless player for one, next he lead with shoulder, helmet contact was incidental and due to the WR lowering himself.
There is a bih difference between a Wr who is still attempting to catch the ball getting hit and QB who already threw the ball a full second or two before getting hit high by a launching LB.
They're going to protect the defensless QB way more than a Wr who is still in the act of making the catch.
Those are 2 different situations.

that should have been a targeting foul to me. If they're serious about player safety, DB's coming in and trying to blow up recievers rather then make a play on the ball or tackle a player with the ball SHOULD be a foul.

Targeting or not, it was definitely a PI. SEC refs are just bad.

Note 2: Defenseless player (Rule 2-27-14). When in question, a player is defenseless. Examples of defenseless players include but are not limited to:
• A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass.
• A receiver attempting to catch a forward pass or in position to receive
a backward pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had
time to protect himself or has not clearly become a ball carrier.
Dude, its right in the rules that he's a defenseless player.

What other thread?
There have been about 5000 threads started since Saturday night about it.

contact to the receivers neck/helmet.
You really need to watch it again...hit directly on the shoulder pads and lowering your helmet isn't penelty BTW.
