Targeting call reversed in Auburn/Ole Miss game...

This was called targeting on the field and reversed on review.

How was that a good call? He lowered his helmet,led with his head, and made direct contact to the receivers neck/helmet. That's much more of a "targeting" penalty than what Devin White did.

Devin White also threw his hit super late I think that had a lot to do with it plus it being questionable in the first place.

I agreed that the White call was bad and should have been reversed, but you got all mad anyway.
About the Belk Bowl, as long as not BHM, that will be a plus.

Well, there's a different penalty for that. It's called late hit and doesn't come with an ejection/suspension.

5 frames of a second is 0.16 seconds. So apparently less than two tenths of a second is considered "late." Please the whole play was a legal hit. Free White.

I'm not saying that a late hit call would have been correct, but at worst, that's the only penalty that should have been called.

Think you're generally a good poster, but he lowers his helmet and the "crown" hits dude's shoulder pad from this angle. The side of his helmet seems to graze the side of the receiver's helmet, but hardly forcible contact with the crown of the helmet to the head/neck area...
