Obvious shop is obvious. In the '30's we were still using cum buckets. Once the US entered WW2 we downgraded to jizz jars so that the cum bucket steel could be used towards the war effort. When the war was over we stuck with the jars b/c of how much easier it is to store jizz jars due to the ability to seal them w/jar lids.

LSU needs to trademark several things and charge Clemson rent

I now know more about the 12 man trademark than I ever cared to, thanks I guess

Cool aggy tradition: Always accepting a walk-on to the team and giving him the #12 jersey
Not cool aggy tradition: plastering 12th man on aggy stadium

It's as stupid as Happy Birthday being copyrighted.

Your post made me think of LeBron James trying to trademark “Taco Tuesday”...

Can they trademark "Aggy" though?

Actually, this is a break from tradition. The guy who came out of the stands in the 20s and volunteered to play, never went in the game.
The actual seeing the field started in the 80s on their kickoff team (with disastrous results).

That’s the point: E King Gill stood behind the team and was ready if needed; hence the current students standing the whole game.
There was nothing disastrous about the 12th Man Kick-off team.
Question: Why do you think a tradition at another school bothers you as it does?

Disastrous is a little strong. They were good on defense, but were pretty trash when receiving.

I thought the kickoff team started giving up an inordinate amount of kickoff returns for touchdowns, and things were suspended because it backfired...

Do they still do that? With kickoffs being mostly perfunctory now, seems like it would be a good time to restart the practice

Ask an aggy. We haven’t played them in nearly a decade.

Who gives a damn about any of their ridiculous traditions. They have to be the silliest team in America.

Will trade an Aggy for a Froggy straight up

They were always good for a nice laugh when they came to Austin. It’s unfortunate that their Corps members always felt it their duty to uphold their school’s honor, and since they had such a chip on their shoulders (and knew people would laugh), they always left College Station looking for a fight.
Thank God their antics are gone from Austin, Waco, Fort Worth, Lubbock...

The all 12th Man kickoff team allowed one return for a touchdown...in 1989. After that Slocum discontinued it.

Tell us again oh expert on all things military how the only way to serve honorably is to enlist and how any officer receiving his commission through ROTC is guilty of stolen valor.
