It's basically the off-season for us now, so here's an off-season thread.

Mizzou is 41-31-3 all-time against Colorado and we are the school that they have played against the most all-time aside from their in-state rival Colorado State. I am surprised that this is still true given that we haven't played each other since Colorado left the Big 12 over a decade ago.

Mizzou has an all-time winning record against every P5 conference other than the Big Ten, thanks in large part to its pitiful record against Nebraska: 36-65-3. We are also somehow 0-6 against Maryland, but the most recent match-up was in 1955.

It's been the offseason for Mizzou for close to a month basically.

I can't judge because Mizzou is 2-5 against the Haskell Indian Nations (KS). They were apparently a bit of a powerhouse before essentially being defunded in the 1930s:

quote:

The program had its earliest success in the early 1900s with a combined record of 38–8–1 from 1900 to 1904. The 1909 team compiled a 7–2 record including victories over Texas and Nebraska.

The team experienced further success under head coach A. R. Kennedy from 1911 to 1915. His 1913 team compiled a 10–1 record, including a 28–0 victory over Texas A&M. After Kennedy departed, the success continued as the 1919 team compiled an 8–1–1 record, including victories over Oklahoma A&M and Kansas State.

The program reached its peak of prominence during the tenure of head coach Dick Hanley from 1922 to 1926. Hanley's teams compiled a 47–9–4 record, including an undefeated season for the 1926 team. Prominent players on Hanley's teams included backs John Levi and Mayes McLain. Levi was selected as a first-team All-American in 1923, and McLain set all-time college football scoring records in 1926 with 38 rushing touchdowns, 253 points scored, and a scoring average of 23 points per game.

LSU has a .656 all time win record overall and a .656 win record over State.

Among the weird teams LSU has a losing record to are Maryland, Santa Clara, Centenary, SMU and Sewanee.

We are 0-1 against the Virginia Military Institute. The shut us out 0-14 back in 1913.

We are also 0-1 against Furman. We lost to them 2-7 in 1924.

We've played Tulane a total of 63 times (40-23 vs Tulane). That's more times than we've played Auburn (46), Georgia (46), Kentucky (44), and Florida (25).

Bear Bryant could be the Pete Rose of
football. In the 1934 Rose Bowl, Alabama
upset a heavily-favored Stanford. Bryant would
later admit he got other players
together and they pooled resources for a
$5-dollar-bet on themselves as an underdog,
making about $1 each---or $20 & 64-cents in today's
money.

Mizzou's record vs KU: 56–55–9

Now that's a surprising record.

Why? That’s literally over a century of football.

It’d be dumb as frick to take the current state of Kansas football and apply it to their football history of over a decade. shite, the 90’s Mizzou teams were basically as bad as the current Kansas teams.

Also makes you realize just how great of a rivalry the KU/MU rivalry is. It’s a shame we don’t get to see it anymore. This weekend doesn’t count in roundball cause we fricking suck and will lose by 50.

Texas A&M beat Arkansas 9 times in a row from 2012-2020.

And still trails Arkansas in the all-time series by 9.
