A very mediocre Vandy team winning 10 of last 12 (including tournament) was a pretty good indicator of the SEC being overrated....

A complete game 2 hitter with 11k and 1 walk, retired last 23 batters in a row somehow isn't good enough to get a mention....

I personally know one baseball recruit who backed off Vandy at his mother's urging. She attended on VU game and left with a splitting headache....

I think it's an "energy" problem as opposed to play calls and schemes. When Saban is your "energy" guy, you'll play flat football. Need to bring in some youthful energy in the coaching ranks somewhere. At some point his staff became too "professional" in mindset. Had the same problem once before and...
