We went 6-4 in SEC series just like the Hogs did- and we didn't get to play Mizzou and SC.
The game with the infamous Jeff Head call at second where the OM runner was out twice and still given the base.

Damian Allen. Was statistically one of the worst QBs in the history of the SEC but was a very highly recruited option QB to run DiNardo's triple option.
DiNardo went to LSU and Rod Dowhower was hired and then went to 4 wide pocket formations.

Corbs always throws our best in game 1. Keeps rotation on schedule for supers and saves the pen for remaining games.

A very mediocre Vandy team winning 10 of last 12 (including tournament) was a pretty good indicator of the SEC being overrated.

Football by default as I don't understand the rules in basketball anymore. I see travels, balls palmed, pauses in dribbles, etc that aren't called the whole game and then with a minute to go those will be whistled. Too hard to keep up variable rules.

I personally know one baseball recruit who backed off Vandy at his mother's urging. She attended on VU game and left with a splitting headache.
