I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of Tigernet. I don't care if they're claiming the sky is blue.

Miami seems like a future Big 12 school to me to partner with UCF. I just can’t see where the SEC or Big Ten would want them. I’d also think that UVA gets a Big Ten invite before VT, with VT seeming like a decent SEC fit.

No to all off them. Then go back to the 1992 expanded 12. Have 6 ten-team or twelve-team leagues.

But since we HAVE to.

Yes to:
FSU
Clemson
VT

No to:
Ncsu
UNC
Miami

I'll get downvoted for this, but if ND resists joining the B1G for any reason and see joining the ACC or maintaining independence as not viable then why not add them?

Save me the not a geographic or cultural fit arguments, Indiana borders Kentucky so technically a geographical one. Depending on who else we invite like UNC, UVA, etc the cultural one could go down the drain as well.

Does USC/UCLA strike you as a geographic or cultural fit for the B1G? A historically Midwest conference. The only similarities they have with the B1G is they're AAU. This is about $$$.

If (and this has a .01% chance of happening) ND refuses to join the B1G and the ACC crumbles and independence won't be an option then that leaves them with just one option.

As far as their Olympic sports that the SEC doesn't offer RN that could change depending on who else we invite and they have those sports, plus maybe some current members play those sports in different conferences and can now play in the SEC.

Let the downvotes commence

Don't reference TigerNet. It is by the worst team forum website I've ever seen.

Why are Mizzou fans so obsessed with what the ACC is doing? There was another thread the other day by a Mizzou fan discussing this subject...who also used taternet as a reference. (And as I said in that thread...lmmfao at using that dump as a reference)

There is a correct answer for it.

They get relentlessly bagged on for being a kneejerk reach for tv screens for the sec.

So they like to battle back with this defense mech,
We don’t want to be here, but thanks for the cash.

They claim worthiness of big ten but big ten offered them junior rep status.

Biggest lotto winners in football besides Rutgers and Maryland.

UNC is literally the only one of those schools worth taking, and you put them in the "no" column.

No they aren’t.

You probably wanted UVA in that “ yes list” too.

Six teams cannot break up the ACC. They are stuck with that conference until the middle of the next decade.

I don’t quite see THAT scenario happening, but I’ll be stunned if at least Clemson and FSU aren’t in the SEC by 2030.

Btw, South Carolina fans will LOSE IT when the Clemson announcement happens.

Yes, this thread is Germans. But I don't think two total threads makes Mizzou "so obsessed" You can't wade through college football boards right now without getting snagged by ACC collapse rumors. I will concede that I think Mizzou fans are more alert to realignment news than the average SEC fan since our conference of 100 years was the subject of constant realignment rumors for several years before effectively collapsing. That's still fresh in most of our minds and it's still weird to me that we will never play Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, and the Oklahoma schools as our conference schedule again.
