UF is better than most would've thought in preseason, and for OM this is a prototypical textbook letdown game (on the road no less)...but despite all that I don't see how UF can be favored.
UF is riding high at the moment but let's not lose sight that they've played 2 tomato cans and an AU team that is probably the ~7th best team in teh conference, maybe. We still have no idea what this team is capable of, but we're very well aware of what OM is.
It'll be much closer than anyone would've thought in August but I sure wouldn't spend any money picking UF to win straight up.

Stereotypical letdown game for us. Florida has athletes on both sides of the ball. I do agree that having UF favored outright in this game feels a little odd, but I don't see us rolling in Gainesville by any stretch

It’s 3.5 UF right now. Will probably end up 1.5 UF by Friday. So the game is essentially a pickem

I mean, sumrall was probably the best hire of the cycle. And Faulkner was probably the coordinator hire of the cycle too. So you get instant improvement on both sides on the ball and replace a turnover machine at QB with old reliable.

Will be our third ranked game out of four. We’re kinda banged up and Lacy may not play and if he does how effective can he be.
Swamp isn’t an easy place to play and y’all gotta be hyped after the coaching change and start.

I thought he was a great fit. Napier wanted to play powerball and recruited to his strength. Sumrall wants to make a fist and do much the same. He just wants to play offense too.

Lacy banged up is giving me 2024 flashbacks where we couldn’t run the ball inside at all. Lindsey is good but he isn’t the same power back. Gonna need another gem from Trinidad. Lucky this is still year 1 for Sumrall

Florida beat maybe the 13th or 14th best team in the conference on Saturday. If they clean up all the penalties and missed plays, they can be dangerous. Singleton will be another big weapon for them when he's healthy. Most teams aren't going to give up every 3rd and 15+ like Auburn has done the past two years.
