In this game he mentioned the amount of LSU fans in the stands. Said as much in 2017. I really think it pisses him off Florida fans don’t support the baseball program more.

Florida has a good one in Sully. New facility, NC recently. Only thing missing is fan support. If they can pull the fans in they will be a tough out for the foreseeable future.

Good series Florida. Wouldn’t have wanted any other team in the championship series. Really fun one with numerous records broken.

I don’t know, I just don’t think I ever see that happening at Florida. Another reason why he probably looked so ticked off.

There is a lot of money in Florida. It can happen, just puzzling why it hasn’t

I mean to play devils advocate, there’s nowhere near as much stress coaching UF baseball vs LSU. Also he gets to live in Florida vs LA

One of the most gritty, competitive, and hard fought CWS I think I’ve ever witnessed.

It’s hot as balls in La right now with not much else to do.

Fla Gator fans have more options for summer activities

Besides Sully's success in the conference & the playoffs, covering many years, he has a gift in consistently recruiting & developing ace pitchers. He & Corbin at Vandy just seem to roll out first round pitchers.

I don’t understand Florida fans. They have an elite athletic department but only seem to be passionate for football, and even their program buy in seems a tad behind sometimes.

Pretty sure Woodward targeted Sully and then he had some skeletons come out and so Woodward looked elsewhere

What you saw tonight was decades of equity built up since the eighties. LSU didn’t draw crowds over night under Bertman. It took sustained success over a long period of time to build up the interest and following that LSU baseball now commands.

UF will have to demonstrate sustained success for a longer period of time, and sprinkle in a few national titles here and there to draw a similar following.

What Sully has going for him is college baseball is more popular today than ever.
