Aggie fans are like the awkward teenage girl who moved to a new school and eeked out some modicum of social standing. Now, the popular girl from her old school is moving there and she’s afraid that bitch is going to tell everyone what a loser she is. So, she’s trying to do everything she can to keep her old bully from attending the same school as her, of course, making her look like a total loser in the process.

From what I remember, only one aggy poster said it was a HORRIBLE idea and would solidify lobo as the second biggest gaping aggy on this LSUsec forum.

More like we were the nerdy girl who moved to a new school after the popular girl made it clear she would ruin any chance we had of dating any of the popular guys at our old school. Soon we started dating guys hotter than the popular girl could even get given the options at the old school, and so the popular girl forced her parents to let her switch schools so she could try to come outdo us at our new school to get her self esteem back.
Texas is following us. Texas is quitting the Big 12 and their big plans for how the LHN would change the landscape. They are quitters, we won and the current hot guy we are dating is locked into a long-term relationship and so when she is ready to dump her alcoholic boyfriend she still won't do as good.

I'm not saying what this OP said is correct all the way through. But just imagine, if you believed you were a victim or one of many victims (rest of the Big12 besides Texas) and then you got to play in the SEC.
You no longer had to hear about Texas as it related to your team. No more victimization. Sure, you have to put up with some LSU posturing but that's no big deal when you really believe that your boogeyman is a behemoth like this. No wonder Aggie was so glad to be in the SEC.
I think I can really understand the Aggie mindset. That mindset is fear. It's scary and horrible to behold. I'm just glad and grateful I don't believe in such things.

The fact is, UT ruined the Big 12 because schools like aggy didn’t have the sack to stand up to them. The school simply left. They walked out. ‘Snakes’ take advantage of the weak. Texas may come to the SEC, but they’re not going to walk all over Bama, LSU, Florida, or Georgia in the process.
