The SEC is all about what you can do on the field and I'm not talking about Tug of War and all the other 'Field Day' Sports
Texas A&M learned that (hardly ever see them bragging about their endowment anymore)

I still remember that time that they put Baylor up to threatening to sue to SEC for taking us as it would seem unbecoming of them to do their own dirty work.

The thing about it is, even if you are right about everything you say, Texas won’t have the control or influence to do these nefarious things you are worried about. This is the SEC, the strongest and most powerful athletic conference of all time and currently.

Fear is way too strong a word but it actually is very concerning to me that so many SEC fans seem to think Texas will just bend the knee and assimilate, hell some even think they will be appreciative.
Texas doesn't do anything like this without the intent of control and domination.

So dramatic. The SEC doesn’t even let Bama have as much control as they would like or people would think, if you think Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia etc, are going to let Texas come in and start calling the shots, you are mistaken.

It’s not just about Texas and OU. If the SEC keeps letting ESPN drive the bus then we might get left behind if they are proven to be a dinosaur in the steaming future. ESPN is a cable channel in a post cable world. This is likely the last media deal they can float, but the expansion they are pushing for will never be undone.
