Per Stoops
quote:

I know there’s been much speculation about me and my job situation the last couple of days. It’s true I was contacted about a potential opportunity this weekend, but after celebrating a big win against our rivals with players I love like family, I knew in my heart I couldn’t leave the University of Kentucky right now. I have a great job at a place I love, and I get to work with the best administration and greatest fan base in college football right where I’m at. I’m excited to say I’m a Wildcat!

Stoops told them no and picked UK. Happy to keep our winningest coach in school history and hope he keeps adding to his record.

7-5 would be a major downgrade. He’s got a good thing going up in Lexington.

It seems more probable that Aggie pulled the offer after considerable fan backlash

Lol no he didn’t. He was all set to go and the A&M boosters melted and stopped it. He put that tweet together for PR reasons

I blame TexAgs.

This site is to blame for all of this nonsense. Looch especially deflecting blame from himself for last nights fumble. This forum has created a bunch of internet keyboard warrior idiots who are the decline to the program. We will consistently be an underachieving program due to sites like this one were everyone with an opinion can spew lies and bull***** So thanks again Looch for building your empire of misinformation and bull crap. Should have punched you in the throat at George Strait concert last week when I saw you.

Recruits and current athletes: keep reading this site because all of the cancerous fans that is wrong with A&M hover over this place like its a dead carcass. They buy into the mid 40 year old's website where he continually tries to relive the glory days of doing lines of coke with Johnny Football.

Pure aggie cope. They'd have a coach by now if they were pulling the offer and going with someone else

Translation Texas A&M didn't offer enough financial incentive to leave Kentucky who is already paying

It's very important to UK fans that their coach "turned down" any other P5 program.

And I get that.

Happy for my Cat brethren.

He just went from a coach I respected to someone I will root for against pretty much everyone but Mizzou.
