2026 - Texas State
2027 - New Mexico State
2028 - LA Tech
2029 - ULM

those are his scheduled openers... I don't see how anyone can like this douchebag.

Before "lAnE kIfFiN iS yOuR cOaCh" - yeah, he's the most popular coach in the country, so frick off.

Texas plays Texas State and UTSA and most of the other teams have preexisting OOC rival games that just happen to be shite programs at the moment.

He's making a statement about how teams are just paying for wins. Yes, Texas played Texas State for a OOC game, then the next week they played tOSU. Thats different than usc loading up their OOC with rent-a-wins. Most, if not the entire SEC plays a P4 opponent so its not a shot at y'all.

Texas hosts Michigan next year, and then a home and home against ND the following two years. Meanwhile Indiana canceled all of their P4 OOC games until 2030. Penn State, UW, USC, Inidana, Nebraska, Arizona, Houston, Kansas State and Texas Tech dont play a single OOC P4 team this year.

UGA’s schedule is particularly pathetic

We should've gotten Florida and South Carolina with Kentucky as our third permanent opponent. UGA vs Auburn has become too one-sided. I think Will Stein has a good chance to turn Kentucky into a respectable SEC team.

It’s a requirement. All play a P4.

He knows exactly why teams are going away from it - because the CFP doesn't care.

He's grandstanding off a one point win over Ohio St. If he lost that game, which he very well could have, he wouldn't be talking like this today. Did he say this last year after the Ohio St game?

So he wants those schools to shudder and close their football programs? I get what he's trying to say, but he's also overlooking the fact that those games make those schools a substantial amount of money towards their own programs that they may not get elsewhere.

Poor old Sark , a really bad coach with the second best in conference record since he has been in the SEC and played in the Championship his first year, How many other coaches have been to the playoffs more ? NONE

He thumped his chest all last year about how you should look at a teams schedule and who they played, not just a record. So yes he did say this all last year.

You guys sure are soft worrying about what Cuck Cuckesian does but I guess when you are winless against him you don't have anything better to do.

Hardly, say, LSU or Alabama's fault Clemson and FSU aren't top 20 matchups.

Alabama opener since 2008:

Clemson
Virginia Tech
San Jose State (Penn State was game 2)
Kent State (Penn State was game 2)
Michigan
Virginia Tech
West Virginia
Wisconsin
USC
Florida State
Louisville
Duke
Missouri (2020 all-SEC schedule)
Miami
Utah State (Texas was game 2)
Middle Tennessee (Texas was game 2)
Western Kentucky (Wisconsin in game 3)
Florida State
East Carolina (Florida State in game 3)

We've had a P4 OOC opponent since at least 2006. Some bigger names than others.

We play the following in future seasons:
2027/2028 - Ohio State
2029 - Notre Dame
2030 - Notre Dame and Georgia Tech
2031 - Georgia Tech and Boston College
2032/2033 - Arizona and Minnesota
2034 - Virginia Tech and Boston College
2035 - Virginia Tech

Every coach talks about how the CFP should rank teams - that's not what I meant. Last year, was Sark throwing shade at other teams for not scheduling big games the week after he lost to OSU?

It's a rotating SEC schedule. If Georgia's schedule is garbage every year, then everyone's schedule is garbage.

Kiffin is the most popular coach in the country?

Is that what you are saying?

I am surely misunderstanding you.

Yes. Literally in the press conference after the game.

To be fair to Sarkisian, the On3 writer took the liberty of putting words into Sark's mouth. I think the writer was the one taking a shot at UGA's schedule, even though UGA plays the same number of cupcakes as pretty much everyone else. Maybe Sarkisian was talking about Big 10 teams that don't schedule any P4 opponent, like Indiana.
