Is this what we’ve resorted to? Can’t gripe about the sport or the team so we are grasping at straws and making mountains out of molehills à la Holly Rowe (pun intended) and saying racist things on X about Indian students?

When did we play UTSA? Week 0? As it stands we’ve played two games, and one of them was against the #1 at the time. If you are ever gonna bark it’s this week.

Schools never pay a university for wins.
They pay a university for home games.
The only schools who are willing to schedule an away game with no return visit are shitty teams who need the money.
The outcome is the same.
But they are not paying for wins. They are paying to fill out the season ticketholder allotment of games. Money is made in home games.
Unless someone is throwing you a poop ton of money (City of Jacksonville to UGA for the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party), those home games are needed for revenue.

UTSA and Texas State are decent G6 programs that would destroy most of the FCS garbage programs a lot of schools schedule.
We played UTSA last year. That team had like 8 starters transfer up to P4 schools who are starting this year.
If you look at advanced stats, they are around the 60s or 70s in rankings of FBS programs.

It’s about the entire OOC schedule. Everyone has 2 tuneups, but very few schedule a top 30 team in OOC much less a top 5. That’s the point.
