Covid was the least of LSU's problems in 2020, and Covid was a big problem.

You mean a dial to account for Bama playing an all-SEC schedule?
all-SEC schedule with depleted rosters. Somehow, Bama avoided the roster turmoil. Kudos to Saban and the staff.

Yeah. My model doesn't have a Covid dial.

Are there a bunch of people in this thread that don't remember 2011? That is the greatest team ever to not win the title. Beat the Rose Bowl Champs, Orange Bowl Champs, Sugar Bowl Champs, and the National Champs while going undefeated in the SEC.
That defense was as good as it gets. It took Bama almost 2 full games plus overtime to score a touchdown. Don't let that final score fool you. They kicked 5 FGs and didn't score an actual touchdown until 4 minutes left. What Burrow was on offense, TM was on defense. It would be an amazing battle.
Ultimately 2019 would pull it out, but those acting like it would be a blowout are nuts.
all this

Don't we hear this every year?... well, the model says yes, actually.

That 2011 NC game really did a number on you people.
Even with the shutout loss to Bama, LSU posted 35.7 points/game in 2011. They had a top 20 offense that year.
I think the model is a fair guess.

Ever wondered how 2019 LSU would fair against 2011 LSU?

This. He is MUCH easier to listen to in that 30 minute span.
Don't try this.
Hunt Palmer is my favorite local guy. But the Bengal Tiger and Tigerbait guys are good too. They all just keep it real, it's about the content instead of it being about themselves.
Boycott Moscona. He's an ultra-fake, theatrical, insecure, desperate for attention, baby who is all about himself instead of the content or LSU.

Was a strong arse press conference
re: Devil’s advocate question: if Kiffin is so great, why are current LSU coaches not staying?

News flash - the entire defensive staff is staying.
Kiffin wants his own guys on offense.

Situations like BK will eventually start forcing schools to only offer incentive-based contracts. It's just a matter of time. It will be better for the school and the sport.

This is Dilly's offenses where he actually called plays:
2020 - Florida State - 3-6 - 93rd ranked offense
2021 - Florida State - 5-7 - 57th ranked offense
2022 - Oregon - 10-3 - 12th ranked offense
2023 - Arizona State - 3-9 - 124th ranked offense
2024 - Arizona State - 11-3 - 25th ranked offense
2025 - Arizona State - 8-4 - 88th ranked offense
Unimpressive. And last year, ASU came out on top of one of the worst Big12 seasons we've seen. Half the conference (8 teams!) didn't even make a bowl game.

"Just as good"? Maybe just as good as Golesh, and Golesh is unimpressive. Their HC records:
Silverfield: 50-25
Golesh: 23-15
Sumrall: 43-11
Dilly: 22-16

Now, give me your lame excuses.
Not me. His history isn't as impressive as you people think it is.

Jk. What's wrong with Les? I haven't heard anything about him since Kansas fired him.
Congrats, you just won "retard of the day"!
Where are all the "Blake Baker sucks" retards?
