I don't know why people are so concerned about Stetson's career.

He made 1.5-2 million in NIL money while at UGA. He got over a million for this season.

He's doing pretty well career wise. He won't be mowing grass anytime soon.

It's because UTjr posters like Serraneaux and his various alters are forever butthurt that he was a better QB than Hooker.

I liked Stetson and think he was underrated most of his career but I'm sure Hooker would have also done more than fine on Kirby's mini NFL squad. Comparing two great players like that on completely different rosters is silly.

With that being said, Hendon is very level headed and will likely have a good NFL career. If Dobbs can ball out in the NFL than Hooker definitely can as well.

This is looking like Manziel part two.

Am very surprised tbh. I didn't think substance abuse issues would be his biggest hurdle at the next level.

Sucks, hope he gets his life together with plenty of it left to live.

Good college player but never felt he was talented enough for the NFL.

He’s clearly got some demons, but a lot of us do. I hope he gets things sorted out because he has a lot in front of him whether or not the NFL works out.

If you listen to the Matthew Perry interviews, he called his addictions a disease. With several medical professionals backing him up. He had his first drink at age 14. Curious, if known, when SB started. Did it ever show up at practices?

I think the fact that he's only a few years younger than Tom Brady is his biggest issue. When he was a senior at Georgia there were almost a dozen starting quarterbacks in the NFL younger than him. Seems like I heard something about Kirby recruiting his son for next season. Lol

The one thing that rings true from this is that you probably spend a lot of time by yourself.

Addiction is no joke. Hope Stetson gets the help he needs and overcomes it.

Wasn't Hooker the QB on the #1 team in the Playoff rankings before that Georgia game? He got outplayed by a midget walk-on in that game.

That’s gone. Getting to the point of substance abuse isn’t cheap and neither is cleaning up. And being on the west coast just makes it more expensive. He was a marginal player on his best days but with this baggage? He’s too high of a risk.

I looked it up and his contract paid just under 700,000 this year. And his NIL college deals we’re collectively around 1 million. So best case he moved to LA with 1.7ish if he never spent a dime of his money.

by the way, his family farm is being auctioned off

That was over a year ago. And 260 acres of timberland will bring a nice sum.
