Average to below average. Wildly inconsistent due to a lack of arm strength.

And once again , you have not one damn idea what you’re talking about.

What I have talked about:

He’s short. Verified
He has an average to below average arm. Verified
He doesn’t have the athleticism to overcome the other two issues. Verified.

From the beginning these are the limitations he is faced with. These are not my opinions. These are not unfounded criticisms. These are statements of fact. Add 6 inches to get him to a more reasonable height and he still has an average to below average arm and isn’t athletic enough to scare you as a runner.

At best he’s a scrappy QB that wasn’t asked to do much and benefited from UGA having a good, deep defense in a time when the east was uniformly down. He was a walkon for a reason. And put him in any other situation than UGAs the last couple of years and he is a liability.

Wasn’t he the MVP of every playoff game he played in? How does your MVP not do much?

I think his ceiling is backup at best in the nfl, but to pretend he wasn’t a good college QB is absurd.

What mph is a below average arm in the NFL. You've moved the goalposts over the past 2 years on this one. Would you be shocked to know what some current NFL starters hit at the combine?

He needs to be 6'5" to be a reasonable height?

You are still claiming below average arm.

Yes. And he beat out 3 (edit to correct from 2. Forgot about JT) former 5 stars and a former Mr Florida for a reason too. He beat out Stroud, Young, Duggan, Richardson, Levis with Ladd McConkey (a tight end and running back) as his best receiver.

You pull more shite out of your arse when it comes to Stetson than I have ever seen anyone else ever do. You are consistently like clockwork wrong on every take that the last 3 years has been a blessing on my life to laugh at you.

I'm going to miss this... truly.

That’s a lie
And you are confusing a single speed metric against ability. He can’t consistently make the throws a decent QB makes. His arm just isn’t good enough. And don’t be too impressed by combine numbers. Not every QB does everything nor do they go all out unless they feel like their film isn’t decent. Bennett had the 3rd best velocity in his group and likely the 5th or worse in this class. Except his 40 time to be similar. And with his height? That puts him as the 6th or 7th QB prospect at best. And he’s only getting that because he was at UGA when they had the Defensive to win back to back titles.

He would be better served getting his degree and selling insurance. He is wasting his time LARPing for the NFL.

Let’s look at some of those 9 “arrests” mentioned in the Athens Banner-Herald article that you linked. I pulled the charges from that article, here are 6 of those 9:

- a LB was charged with speeding

- a RB was charged with reckless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt (gasp)

- an OLB was charged with speeding in a work zone

- a DB was charged wit DUI

- Long snapper charged for breaking a window (charges dropped)

- DL was charged with 2 misdemeanors for hitting 2 people with a gel gun.

Them some bad mo-fos.

Are you going to edit 3 years of posts? Lol

He made those "good QB throws" in 2022. I admit that he looked like Tim Tebow in 2021 (layered throws over defenders to green grass where the receivers run under it.
Those throws actually look like Hendon Hooker highlights now that I think about it ).
Those weren't the throws he was hitting in 2022. He needed to improve for the NFL after 2021 and he did exactly that.

quote:

That puts him as the 6th or 7th QB prospect at best.

So you are telling me that your position all along for the past 3 years is that Stetson Bennett would be at best the 6th or 7th best QB in the NFL draft. And you spent all of those posts dogging a guy who went from walk-on to the 6th or 7th best draft prospect at his position.

I love this. Truly. You've made my weekend. I'm going to miss these chats.

So the 6th or 7th best nfl draft prospect in a qb class would be better served selling insurance (which a degree isn't required for by the way. Just licensing exams).
And you are the QB expert in these threads?

It said he was athletic and had a great deep ball, both of which prove you wrong.

It also didn’t mention his strong arm, verified objectively this weekend, which also proves you wrong..

3 claims made, 3 claims proven wrong.

You truly are the best idiot when it comes to uga. Congrats. You are a glutton for punishment

He’s 5’11 3/8”. That’s a half in shorter than 6’. It’s not that short.. y’all have been saying he’s under 5’10 for 3 years.

He has as much arm strength as anyone in the class as proved yesterday, and has been the best okay action QB in the country for 2 years.. that’s verified!

He’s athletic enough to score not 1, not 2, but 3 times running once each game the last 3 season against the university of Knoxvilles G5 program!

Correct. Even his recorded height proves smokeyone wrong. Stet is 2 inches taller than smokeyone once claimed.

Ho hum...another butthurt fan saying that UGA is only on top because the rest of the SEC is "down". Sorry pal, but that sort of statement makes you look silly and very ignorant about football. UGA has lost 1 game in 3 seasons...ONE! It has nothing to do with the rest of the East being "down", it has everything to do with UGA being up...way, way UP...far above the rest of the SEC that is still the toughest conference in the country.

As I understand it, his family already owns Blackshear and Nahuta too, all Dollar Generals included.
