State fans, i'm guessing Leach will hit the transfer portal for a QB?

Leach has always stated he only recruits accurate QBs out of high school. State is lacking big time in the QB department for kids that can throw the ball at least decently. I'm assuming he'll be hitting up the transfer portal soon or he'll have to recruit a juco/HS kid to come in and start?

Maybe, but his top QB Target just enrolled at MSU this Spring. Leach went after him while at WSU.
With so much to re-tool he may just wait for Will Rogers to take the reigns.
I fully expect that he's already searching for WRs though

The Wake Forest kid, Jamie Newman, may be a target. Not a home run, but accuracy over 60% in 2019 and decent TD/Int ratio.

We are fine at QB. I expect him to hit the portal up and snag a couple of WRs though. We may also have a couple of tight ends go into the portal.

Ahhh I didn't know this. Well never mind then. I guess he's got his guy! Hope he can turn that wreck around soon than later.

Gotcha. I've seen his name tossed around but someone posted his stats for their conference games and they didn't seem too hot. But it might be something he can work with.

A kid from MS he recruited at Washington signed with state this year. Could be set with that kid

Felipe Franks doesn't have the minimum IQ requirement to play for Mike Leach.

KJ Costello out of Stanford is looking for a home. Fierce competitor. I think he is pretty good and Leach knows him well.

Trending UGA - not confirmed yet though. I have no idea where the kid will go, I just remember hearing his name and knew he had a decent year.

Gardner Minschew's sister is enrolled at State. Leach is probably planning to convince her to suit up for next year and play QB.

Shrader should flourish in Leach’s scheme.
