You know what Alabama’s heritage is? Having to play in Birmingham for decades because their on campus stadium was too small and shitty for big games. So they slapped a brick facade around BDS ,that piece of shite made of metal piping, added in a fricking rave show, and now they think they have some kind of modern palace.

If you knew the history behind tiger stadium you’d know they’d never abandon it. Most I can see is then completely redo if section at a time. Don’t think they would just blow it up and start from scratch. Depends on coach o and what happens in the future.
It’s been like 5 years or so since I went to ole miss but that place is a dump.I’ve seen multiple high school stadiums nicer

Auburn needs a 21rst Century upfdate:
1. Chair back seating with arm rest and cup holder for every seat.
2. Orange field.
3. Better WiFi
4. Better food.
5. Better use of our big TV
J/K on #2.
#1 would reduce capacity, however, the future of live sports is likely to be smaller crowds with better amenities.

Neyland not needing to be replaced. That’s absurd.
I wouldn’t mind a reduction of around 10,000 seats to make some more comfortable but it’s been updated and redone enough to be one of the better stadiums in college.

You go into BD and you see all the updates etc how can Tennessee's stadium compare?
Sorry, Neyland doesn’t have that super annoying light show. Honestly seeing it at UGA and BD is just the most useless thing out there.
What does Neyland stadium currently not have that you feel they should add?

Have you not been? It’s easily more impressive than bama’s. All BDS really has going for it is the brick in each end zone.

Our concourses and north end zone scoreboard needs replaced. Our concessions are a joke for being the food capital of the SEC. seriously our concourses are so old and shitty. You can see exposed pipe everywhere. It’s old broken down concrete nothing nice on the eye as you’re walking though. It’s just junky.

You've got to figure that eventually Byrne will decide to put some money into Tiger Stadium just to keep up with the times. It might be hard to get the BOT to buy in considering we only play one game there every other year, but it will have to be done eventually, and now is the time to do it when the AD is overflowing with money.

State’s renovation a few years has made DWS very nice. My prediction is that they eventually replace the bleachers with chair back seats around entire stadium, close in the S end zone with additional suites etc. Capacity will probably remain around 60-65K which is fine. The gargantuan stadiums don’t really do anything for me and the nosebleed seats are about 15 stories above the field and most of the time they watch the Jumbotron instead of the field.

This needs to be priority ONE at all SEC venues.
The space allotted for bench seating hasn't changed an inch in the last 50 years in most places. Ridiculous with success of the conference and obvious better options for a declining fan base who can watch at home.

I always found that Auburn's stadium is one of the best in the SEC. There really is not a terrible seat in the stadium. None of that steep upper deck like LSU and none of the way upper deck like in the end-zones at Alabama.
I believe they would ruin the unique setting if Auburn adds upper deck to the end zone. Big enough but not too big.

Bryant-Denny Stadium is one of the most aesthetically appealing stadiums in the country. When was the last time you were there? 1997?
And yes, the brick facades on both ends of the stadium look spectacular. They’re in the process of doing the rest of the stadium as well.

What was insecure about that post? Disagreeing that Tiger Stadium - a stadium even LSU fans admit needs some massive upgrades - isn’t “way more impressive” than Bryant-Denny?
