Athletic endowment

Posted by TheWhitemamba16 on 11/30/24 at 7:29 am
Sorry if discussed or I’m uneducated what’s to stop these athletic programs in college from building massive endowment that supports the athletes.

Again I could be wrong but the big systems like the IVY leagues and the University of Texas collective have 30-45 billion in AUM. The funds provide for expansion into the school.

Something similar could be done athletically. By coming into the athletic endowment system you would be able to receive whatever your desired form of compensation is. 2) you could have someone running this endowment in the market making money of the balance 3) Athletes would then also pay a very small portion of contract back into the collective to support the next athlete.
Hahahah I love how we serious problems like the ones you are describing are…most kids eat maybe a meal a day and have been homeless before.
“Your point about timing is also spot-on. When players leave schools hanging right before signing day, it not only affects the program but also other athletes who might have taken that spot. Respecting the process and giving schools time to adjust should be part of the equation, even in this new era.”

In theory if a player backs out of commitment, then the player who you are claiming spot was originally taken can now come get his offer back. It works both ways.
So one way to pay the players is capped (through the school) but NIL donor can operate outside that amount set for the school) ?

Every NIL should be a huge signing bonus in escrow until 1 full season playoffs has passed. And then incredible incentive laden then on out. If we don’t make the metrics we don’t spend money. If we break records we can afford to spend whatever we want

I would pay way more then this.. 1 the first championship is hardest so it makes sense to over pay and then maintain success. Second once you are a historic program it’s easier to stay that way. Right now as I understand it NIL has no salary cap. I would break the bank to cement my legacy as the first dynasty of the the new CFL playoffs. Evenly salary caps or rules will come and and they will level the playing field.

Kirk, jones, Stafford, Lawrence.

Darnold has been good to me though.

I could also ask for Caleb Williams in return in the trade. The guy has Josh Allen and Caleb Williams

Yeah I hear you.. to me he’s more boom/bust then ekeler… ekeler is my 3rd running back so not losing a whole lot there and choosing between scary terry and BTJ at the flex has been tough but normally they score pretty close to each other.

Breece hall also ends the season with an incredible schedule.

Additionally I will have to drop 1 player when hockenson gets off of IR so might as well try and trade a 2-1

He’s not Devin white fast but not dj welter slow..

Seems to make decisions extremely quick or has really quick gut read. Seems to have a quick first step and acceleration but maybe likes top line MPH or 40 numbers

You can be open and not track the ball or adjust to the ball in air.. I see this a lot. Not as much as overthrow but still needs to be mentioned
You’ve got to first make it not janky before you can start to change the narrative
What did I say that could hurt lsu?

If two teams are neck and neck they are going to choose the program that pays the most.. not the program who advocates propaganda throughout its fan base
You make me laugh thinking a fan run message board affects a recruits decision in an era of NIL
