Speaking of Auburn University, how many hours of those training courses do you think they drill into their heads that they work for "Auburn University" and not "The University of Auburn"?

When I toured it in '06 I swear I heard that no less than 40 times.

Funny, I remember eating at salsaritas in montgomery with one of the eddins last year and him telling me how many hot chicks there were just to get the recruits in

Kinda thought he was joking but I guess not

I suppose the five male Tigerettes are for the “don’t ask, don’t tell” football recruits.

Could be for the recruits single moms to be escorted around campus.

Not sure about if he is asking or stating but I thought that only a set list of coaches could actively recruit now. Wasnt there some new rule put into effect of that nature?

Why I can't get a fair break on a legit question is beyond me.

I was asking (hence the ? mark) if hot Girls can be legitimate recruiters?

Honestly, I thought it would be against the NCAA rules....but noooooo I am attacked based on some previous misconception!!

If so, then these girls are breaking that rule by being on the Auburn payroll and actively recruiting these players.

I wouldnt say what they are doing is considered recruiting in an NCAA aspect. I believe they just fill out the mailers and show them arround campus

I can actually buy this. After y'all won the NC, I bet they had a lot more recruits and promotional things that had to be done. They probably had to work a lot more hours.

Audra Brawley, a sophomore Tigerette in biomedical sciences, said the main duties of Tigerettes and Tiger Hosts are recruiting the best young men to become Auburn football players, aiding the coaches, helping the secretaries in the office with mail outs to prospective players and working with the athletic department in recruiting students

I was attacking your sentence structure and choice of punctuation associated with it. hence my retort, question ended with a "." and statement ended with "?"

The very first thing she said was their main duty was to help recruit. Good lord. 3 Aubies quickly agreed with you, and one of the hostesses themselves said their main job is to recruit football players. at how yall are able to convince yourselves of anything but the truth sometimes.

I still want someone to explain the volatile nature of their payment schedules. The idea that they work a lot more hours some weeks than others doesn't jibe with the clerical nature of these jobs as it is being presented.
