They said their main duty is to recruit young men to play football at Auburn. Sounds alot like recruiting on the school's dime to me.
And what did the say their activities of "recruitment" were? Just because someone says the word recruitment does not make them a recruiter

I was asking (hence the ? mark) if hot Girls can be legitimate recruiters?
I believe ON campus, anybody can be a "recruiter". (Coaches, official university hosts, academic advisers, housing advisers, etc.).
The thing that got Tenn in hot-water was sending the hot chicks on trips to the prospects high school football games.

That's a little harsh.
Not really. they are paid to sit and bat their eyes at the recruits while they hold their hands. Pretty much whoring themselves out in one way or another.

How bout being on the athletic payroll, saying you're recruiting for your school and contacting them via facebook outside of dead periods? Reckon that could be a red flag?

yeah, those being "expense reimbursements" wouldn't be good.
Much better off going with the part-time job theory.

is a friend request against the rules? I am pretty sure that aspect of facebook is allowed even by coaches. Now when they actully recieve a message it is not

there are no Bama Belles anymore. Hopefully though we are finding some more informal groups of young, dedicated female students to volunteer.

Audra Brawley, a sophomore Tigerette in biomedical sciences, said the main duties of Tigerettes and Tiger Hosts are [1]recruiting the best young men to become Auburn football players, [2]aiding the coaches, [3]helping the secretaries in the office with mail outs to prospective players and [4]working with the athletic department in recruiting students
Yes, duties. How is this so hard to comprehend

Is this much different than CASS at ua?

I'm sure they get paid. Since it's not under the volunteer option.
quote:
All of these services begin with the recruit's first visit. The advisors set up individual appointments within the department of the recruit's area of study and accompany the prospect to the meeting. They give the recruit a tour of the campus and go over services provided by CASS.

I see your argument, but I think you're hung up on semantics. Use common sense for a second, and it's easy to see how they are being used as recruiters.

Coaches have more duties than recruiting too. Doesn't mean they don't still do it.
Again, the girls said they recruited for Auburn. They get paid for it.

Of course.
Dedicated female "students" that "volunteer".
I wonder how many bene's Maw and Paw back on Sand Mountain get from baby doll's "volunteer" work?

I love you bro, but you GOTTA stop answering questions with questions. Are you in politics? Because if not, you missed out on one hell of a career opportunity.
