Argue with NFL GMs then lol

Is the point of CFB to win CFB games or is it to supply NFL players?

If people figure out it is the latter their games will trend toward the relevance of Triple A baseball. They have championships but nobody remembers them.

NIL has just spread out the talent more. SEC is still the best overall conference, its just not dominant like it once was.

Think about what you're saying. You're admitting the only reason the SEC was dominant was that most SEC teams were paying players under the table and stock piling talent. Now with NIL, the SEC has lost their money advantage and don't have the talent and depth they used to.

This is really unbelievable to me. Indiana has NEVER been good. Like even lower than Kentucky. And now, suddenly, in one or two years they’re winning the championship potentially?

The issue is mentality, not talent.

Still wrong. I would take IU’s WR1, RB1, RB2, QB, and entire OL right now.

1 hundo.

Cignetti and Indiana knew nothing about a Bama "mystique".

The top 2 teams in the SEC are still in the playoffs btw.

And literally 3 teams not in the SEC have one the CFP since its inception.

The “brand” is talent. Which is why the brand can shift from “defense” to “greatest offenses in the history of CFB” in like 2 years.

Are we really hanging our “sec demise” hats on A&M (lol) and a bama team most of us didn’t think deserved to make the playoffs?

I didn't watch them this year but the fact they beat Oregon and OSU is all I needed to know and the fact Bama can't run the ball..I didn't think this game would be a blowout but I thought Indiana would win by 10 .oof Deboer is officially on the hot seat after this... better start packing... Washington would hire him back

The top 3-4 of the Big 10 is pretty darn strong. The rest are crap but then the SEC seems about the same this year.

Of course. And guess what? The SEC has dominated the last decade in both.

I didn’t bring up the draft as being the point. I brought it up to imply that talent wins out more often than not and that talent is what the “brand” is

This is an example of great coaching vs a coach that is lost. Indiana is not 38 points better than Bama. Indiana struggled in multiple games this year to score points. I love to see Bama fail as I’m definitely not a fan but this is embarrassing this is a team with absolutely zero preparation. Bama looks like the worst team in the SEC out there today. I have been supportive of thinking it was crazy to want to fire DeBoer, but I’m starting to see what the Gumps are talking about with him. He is average at best.

The only two games Indiana really struggled to put up points was at Iowa and Ohio State. Both pretty tough defenses. They put up points on pretty much everyone else, including Oregon.

Barely beat Penn State, put up 27 on Old Dominion. Those teams played them tougher than Bama. Bama is better than every team they played except Ohio State. Which is why this is a horrible coaching job we witnessed today.

They conveniently ignored the loss to FSU. I did not expect Alabama to compete in this game.

I do watch other teams. SEC is just another conference. Miami looked good for most of the year, so that doesn’t surprise me. I expected Bama to lose but not like that. UGA has to shake the rust off …
