BTW, Texas demands to be called UT so the Aggies naturally call them TU to insult them.

Don't care really, we'll still refer to ourselves as either UT or Texas. The tu stuff is just childish and aggy, but I see their special brand of weird has rubbed off on other fanbases.

U of TN was founded in 1794. Texas wasn't even a state then.

Look I know we have all had to fight each other for a long time, it's been very bloody and none of us are perfect. Some very mean things have been said by all of us BUT if you want to side with those total asshats over us well.....then.....maybe our history together as a true southeastern conference isn't what I thought it was

Without Tennessee saving Texas, the border would be at Oklahoma.
University of Tennessee has been a school longer than Texas has been a state.

I’m pretty sure this world we live in has enough room for two UT’s. At least they don’t have to share a mascot with 7 other schools.
But I have found myself saying UT-Tennessee and UT-Texas lately

The original UT is UT. Plus, the SEC was literally formed in Knoxville, TN.
