In the 70's at The Pastime, Sid Crocker and some of the other newscasters from channel 2 or 9 would show up to toss down a few drinks before their 10 PM news show.

Been married for 51 years. We have had 3 refrigerators. First was a green GE. It lasted 31 years. Replaced it with another GE and it is now our garage refrigerator. The third one was a Bosch to go with our Bosch dishwasher. Bosch is the brand to buy for appliances.

In 2016, Trump said the best thing was to abolish Obamacare and the GOP would come up with a great plan, It did not happen. Then Trump said the GOP was going to have a great insurance plan to replace Obamacare in 2 weeks. Then another 2 weeks. It must have been misfiled, probably in the Epstein Files.

Yes we are in our 70's now and facing the physical challenges that come with it. Just remember, us old guys are taking all of your comments in style and laughing at them, how do you think you will handle your 70's IF you live that long?

Well I am 75, Lymphedema is bad in my feet and ankles and in my trips to HEB, I use their scooters. They are fun to drive but don't go as fast as yours.

Both of our kids loved spaghetti and sauce. But they both hated vegetables. So we use thed blender and chopped up the vegetables real fine and added it to the sauce. Well it would change the color of the sauce so we would just add food coloring. Sometimes you have to be creative.

It's one thing to say that you have a University that has enough profit to keep the whole athletic department from operating in the red. But when the others operate in the red ink area, ask yourself what is their function? Teaching or sports? Add in the fact that the State of Louisiana has some severe budget issues and has never been known to be cash rich, well it is quite simple. Time for some cuts or severe belt tightening.. I say this as a USL graduate from 1973.

Recruiting from High School or the portal now comes with $$$. Now the organization has to deal with a GM type, and a money manager with a budget.
But the basics stay the same. The new coach will have to have Saban characteristics, hands on working through his staff but must still have the cojones to tell non coaches, big money boosters, athletic directors, elected officials, etc. I am the coach and you ain't. Get out of my way, stop interfering or you can find someone else.
