Been here for years
Millions upon millions must have zero due process entering into this country.

Just walk on down from anywhere in the world and say "I asylum seeker" and viola!...you are now a resident of the United States of America for the rest of time. And you get to tap into the American taxpayer funded welfare benefits and are given priority access to housing spaces/inventory in many states nationwide!

But if just *ONE* person-even a foreign national gang member-has any iota of a dUe PrOcEsS issue you will get national network reporters in the Oval hounding you about it like the fate of the American Empire is at stake.

Clown arse world we are stuck in. Such a nefarious game this is being played on all of us.

Missouri will spend money on a new on campus dome to house queer illegal immigrants of color before they buy their baseball program a new set of baseballs.

Wut?
Being born with the genetic lottery physically helps too in the case of one's NFL dreams.
Todd Helton I’m assuming?

Will say though Tennessee baseball in state talent this century keeps getting stronger seemingly as our state population and suburbs keep growing and expanding. Plenty of CY Young’s, MVPs, All Stars, ect. have been home grown Tennessee this state. Mookie Betts, David Price, Dan Uggla, Sonny Gray, ect off the top of my head. Plus all the young Tennesseans out in the pros now building a career for themselves.

Both Vanderbilt and Tennessee have built national championship winning rosters that were built using homegrown Tennessee talent as the cornerstones.
Rain delay has me thinking how both these two baseball programs will probably be battling it out for SEC baseball supremacy for the next decade or two.

Was pondering, which state has better overall in state home grown baseball talent?

Obviously Louisiana has way more football talent. But with baseball Tennessee honestly might have the upper hand. But I know very little about HS Louisiana baseball off the top of my head and was wondering what others might think about that question

FFS what other rivalry in all of sports involves literal victory cigars for the winning squad? TSIO is an iconic Southern/college football rivalry.

TSIO is most definitely a cultural state of being for those whose family has been united by supporting both of these respective football programs over the generations. It's the rivalry that put major Southern college football on the map nationally back in the day. Nobody has beaten Tennessee football more than Alabama has. And nobody has beaten Alabama as much as Tennessee has.

Anyone who supports either school that thinks it would be no big deal if we lost the annual TSIO matchup is an idiot who doesn't know anything about the programs they claim to cheer on. This game matters a lot to many people and always has.
My favorite cultural/mainstream media psyop is how ONLY the dozen or so historical white majority countries on Earth out of the over 200+ countries must be the only societies on the globe to openly embrace, accept and cherish "diversity" and "multiculturism" as the new norm for the remainder of human history.

Not unprecedented. FDR got a 4th term before he died.

That was totally (D)ifferent
Ok cool story…I just hope we’re getting as many non-white guys as possible to work in the airline industry. All that matters. Tired of guys who look like my grandfather that fought in WW2 walking around thinking they run aviation
NOTHING can be worse than the ref show in the elite 8 game we had last year vs Edey's fouling arse

Best point guard in college basketball this season imo

You are the dumbest of dumbasses

When you get to witness a once in a lifetime player

You enjoy

LMAO

You and everyone else who roots for LSU on this site would have been dog cussing the basketball team and the coaching philosophy on a near nightly basis had they replicated the exact same stats/players/coaches and win/loss record overall these past few years.

You guys especially would have been SKY SCREAMING for Press Maravich's head after his son's second full season. LSU basketball sucked absolute butt under Press Maravich, including for 2 out of the 3 seasons Press was orchestrating a college basketball Harlem Globe Trotter program starring his own boy. That singular year however under Press Maravich that finished with a big 4th place NIT banner was damn magical.

Generations later that one glorious 4th place NIT run is still being celebrated like on old football team that won a national championship as shown by this entire thread of commentary. LSU basketball sucked arse in the late 60s-on

Great player though!
Now recall the other two seasons besides his last one where LSU basketball finished around .500 with a losing bottom 1/3rd SEC overall SEC finish. Talk about how those teams would have also gotten into the tournament today.

LSU basketball was like an 8th or 9th place SEC basketball program every single year of the Press Maravich era besides that one lone year they snagged a 4th place NIT trophy. All you have to do is look back at the results of those basketball seasons under Maravich.

If yall think you hate your basketball coach now you guys would really DETEST the on court results of a Press’s basketball program in today’s era.
quote:

He did score 68 vs the Knicks in the NBA. Just sayin'

Literally said above he was a world class talent. He was good as a singular player when he wasn't unnecessarily spinning like a ballerina with the basketball at midcourt to showoff to fans for 10 minutes of the game each night.

Does not change the fact that the Pete era at LSU was about his highlight package and not the well being of the basketball team itself. LSU basketball pretty much sucked arse when electing to play 1 and 4 vs 5 basketball games every night of his career. Press Maravich and the LSU basketball program as a whole back then were beyond underwhelming.
quote:

You mean the guy that led the sec in assists? That ball hog?

Ya that one.

Harlem globe-trotting showboating Pete first, team second daddy basketball ball hog. LSU basketball could not have been more mediocre with Pete being being treated as the one and only thing that mattered about LSU basketball his 3 years in college with his dad. Huge 4th place in the NIT though that final year.

He was a world class talent, sure.

But let's be real and not revisionist just because of folk lore legend: that was some mickey mouse BS losing team basketball

The Press Maravich days of running a one man traveling basketball circus with his boy are vastly overrated. That is unless trying to play actual competitive championship team centric first basketball doesn't matter. Perhaps it was all about the highlights, media attention and tickets being sold.
