Looks more like #26 wrapped him up and was holding and he fell to the ground.

The Georgia player was literally tackled into the receiver against Auburn and it was called a pick play

Can't have it both ways.

I wasn't commenting on the Georgia Play, Only the play in Clemson game.

But in the Clemson/Alabama game who is WR picking? the guy that tackeled him or #2?

He didn't tackle him..

#3 ran right into him and he held his ground and then #3 fell to the ground as soon as contact was made.

Even Watson called it a successful pick play right after the game

intent of Clemson was to run a rub route (you can call it a pick, I do not care). It could have been illegal if the outside receiver deliberately impeded the ability of the inside DB to cover the slot receiver. The problem is the Bama outside DB tackled (yes, TACKLED) the receiver he was covering and created the logjam, effectively picking off his own fellow defender.

Good no call.

Kinda how I see it.

They ran 100 offensive plays in the game without an infraction.
Very disciplined and meticulous bunch.

But it was last year. Who cares? Quit living in the past!

It was an egregious pick play....but, We didn't play well enough to win. We got exactly what we deserved. The two pick plays were illegal but they didn't cost us the game.

Not getting 1st downs did. Not getting the defense off the field on 3rd down did. Not getting to Watson did.
Not getting into an offensive rhythm did. Pick play smick play. Wtf were they doing down there anyway?

OC's all around the country were watching that game because people have been running that play like CRAZY this year.

Refs are actually calling the penalty more often than you think they would now, since it go so much attention last year.
