Bama wanted Clemson again and we got em. Let's see how it goes down this time. I am thinking we will be ready for your picks.

You can clear as day see the Bama corner grab him. It's blatant and obvious. Maybe if the idiot Bama player hadn't tried to grab him first the it may have been called. But being that he plays for Bama he knew he could get away with holding the receiver and not get called for it.

I think Deshaun is confused there. Scott is the one that gets tackled. Leggett (the TE) is no where to be seen.

The first "pick play" involves Leggett, but Mike Williams is the receiver that catches the TD.

Yeah you will, won't you? Be careful about all that crowing, that stuff tastes bad when it is fed to you. Remember Shaq's rap to Kobe a few years back? You be sure and be here when you lose so I can hit you with it.

Scott ran right up in the DB's face he couldn't help but do what he did. Now I don't blame Clemson, you do what the stripes let you get away with. But they were letting them push off and pick all game long.

Our DB's? Not so much.

They were Big 12 refs... they're not used to seeing DBs within 5 yards of a play, so they were justifiably confused.

That's kind of the point. He ran up to him and made his cut. Defender knew he'd been beat and did what Bama does and grabs hold. He plays for Bama so he knows more than most times isn't going to get flagged. If anything that play is defensive holding or PI.

The intent of Clemson was to run a rub route (you can call it a pick, I do not care). It could have been illegal if the outside receiver deliberately impeded the ability of the inside DB to cover the slot receiver. The problem is the Bama outside DB tackled (yes, TACKLED) the receiver he was covering and created the logjam, effectively picking off his own fellow defender.

Good no call.

Yep. This would be like in basketball, a team is about to intentionally foul a player, but before they do, the other player reaches out and grabs them

100% Clemson wanted to run a pick

100% Clemson called a pick play

100% they didnt pick Bama though

The bama player grabbed and pulled the clemson player, keeping him from successfully runing the pick

Thank you..
