I kind of love that someone made a youtube video titled:

"Every Alabama Football Loss Since 2011 Compilation"

The hate is strong.

It's also noteworthy because there are so few of them.

If you did a video like that about LSU it would be hours long.

Someone explain how the top one is a pick play, but the bottom one isn't?

Simple. The Georgia player picked a defender not assigned to cover him. The Clemson player picked the guy assigned to cover him. Number 2 for Alabama did not do his job on that play. That was why Clemson scored, not the pick.

Good god, it wasn't a pick play. The outside Bama defender pulled down the clemson receiver and the other Bama defender took himself out of the play. Sorry. Maybe Bama called a poor defense. Try zone next time and hit whining.

Clemson QB called it a "pick" in post game interview, so he's got that going for him.

Bama should have been flagged on the play.. not clemson.

They ran 100 offensive plays in the game without an infraction.
Very disciplined and meticulous bunch.

Bama went like an entire season without a holding penalty

I really don't care what this bunch says, it was a pick. Watson called it a pick. The play was designed to be a pick. The receiver ran right into the DB who held his ground and was even giving ground a little. How can you initiate contact when the guy runs right into you?

Clemson's QB tells them it was a pick and they won't believe that. Well they really do but won't admit it.

That being said, the officials were letting the Clemson receivers get away with a lot all night so I don't fault them for doing it, it would be stupid for them not to.

Call it whatever you want. Pick, rub route, etc. The only player who should have been flagged is the Bama DB who quite literally gave the Clemson WR a bear hug and tackled him

Bovine scat. You don't even believe that. Your own QB admits it was a pick, that makes it a pick. He should know.

No, it wasn't. The wideout ran into his own defender, who grabbed him and threw him to the ground. A pick play means the wideout blocks or runs into the other wideout's defender.

So Renfrow cuts right in behind the pick, just as the play was designed, and called.Exactly what you do on a pick play. The WR runs right into the DB who is giving ground. He didn't even pretend to be running a route'

Watson admits it was a pick. I saw an interview where Dabo gives us the name of the play and pick is part of it.

So the QB admits it. The Head Coach admits it. It was a pick.

and it was perfectly legal the Bama DB should have been flagged though.
