Don't let the fricking door hit you on the way out Satan worshiping bastard. So, who did Satan pick as his successor?

Overall Slive had a solid tenure. No complaints from a Kentucky perspective now that they finally fixed the basketball scheduling and we play Tennessee and Vandy twice again. SEC football is the premier brand in the country, and extra SECN money has really helped everyone in the conference make some upgrades. I guess time will tell what his legacy will truly be.

I don't feel like Slive lobbied hard enough for Auburn in 2004.

I have no intention of allowing this thread to fall off of the front page between now and the sacrificial hour.

Wait? The SEC wised up and made us 'official' rivals again? I know we've both been waiting on their stamp of approval to make it real.

Seriously, taking away our home and home was one of the dumbest moves they ever made. I'm glad it's been fixed. Basketball season just isn't as fun with only one game against UK and whoever thought that shite up to begin with did us all a huge disservice by screwing up a historic rivalry.

And agree. I don't have much to complain about with Slive.

Yeah, right, that is not up to Saban. The responsibility with hiring a new SEC Commish lies with Bryant Jr. and the REC.

Slive is a fricking rule humper. He rode off the coat tails of one of the most memorable commissioners ever. He's like the commish version of Clinton. Walked into a solid situation that only got better for reasons not on his behalf.

Can't argue with that.

Roy Kramer was the greatest. Always will be.

Believe it or not, there are 12 other schools in this conference who dont give a flip about playing politics with the two Alabama schools.

Slive did OK but he had to be an idiot to screw things up. He was handed te keys to a Ferrari, the real architect of the modern SEC is Roy Kramer.

The SECN is due more to Texas' arrogance than to Slive's "vision". Although successful it was after all the 4th of its kind. The SECCG game was a pioneer idea. Not such things under Slive's regimen. Kramer is the genious.

There was nothing to lobby. The top 2 teams to start the season finished undefeated. No one deserved to jump them. Blame the system in place, but frick you for blaming Slive.
