Any Georgia loss while Brock Bowers is out is immediately invalidated because our best receiver was hurt.

That’s a relief

Did they invalidate Bama's loss? Then wtf are you talking about?

For as long as Bowers is out the mantra for any loss will be - but our best player was missing.

That is the old fall back response per Alabama and Ohio St fans. "if our players had not of been injured we would have won"

For Georgia fans it is all about - next guy up. I look for the entire receiving corp to step up and fill the void.

According to Georgia fans they should have enough players to replace him and should be no excuses if he isn't there

I agree, I heard nothing but crying about "would have" and "could have" scenarios.

But I have to say that Ohio State fans were "slightly" more pathetic, but I have to emphasize that the "slightly" was caused by their incessive whining.

Nuance can be difficult but it’s a thing. These aren’t equal comparisons.

I can’t speak for Ohio State but when it comes to Alabama all I know is with Metchie and Jamo we all witnessed Bama obliterate Georgia on national television a month before the Natty. That’s reality. This isn’t “woulda shoulda coulda”. We all saw the game unfold with those WRs.

Without Metchie and Jamo Alabama still controlled the Natty from the jump. Led by 5 or 6 with 10 min to go. Couldn’t finish drives due to lack of experience at WRs. The game should have been over early if Alabama could score TDs in the redzone. Choked in the end.

There’s no asterisk. UGA won fair and square. A veteran, tough elite defense finally got a break and took advantage. They finished.

Georgia deserved the championship…but we all know with those 2 WRs for 60 minutes it’s another easy win for the Tide.

Y’all haven’t even lost yet, and already the coping has begun. When it happens, your previous stance that Kirby should have another guy ready to replace your leading receiving threat applies. Sucks when it is your team, huh?

It’s not an excuse but the truth. Doesn’t take away a win but don’t think for a second that if Georgia now loses two fans won’t say “damn. bowers getting hurt did us in”. Or “if we had bowers we win”
Because guess what? It’s probably the truth. That dude is a MAJOR part of your offense. You might have lost auburn without him. He is a big loss.
