Yep. University of Florida Executive Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs Jay Jacobs signed off on that brilliant deal.

Yes, no clause. Gus living his best life. Paid by Auburn, coaching in Orlando. Win/Win

FIFY.

If he was looking out for Auburn's best interest he'd have let Gus and Jimmy Sexton take that show down to Fayetteville.

Best of all, there are approximately twenty Waffle House locations within fifty square miles of UCF’s campus. Gus is living the dream.

I'll bet he tips well at the Orlando waffle House. At least $5 for his and Kristi's meals.

How much is UCF paying? He may end up making more than Saban.

I think auburn would only have to pay the difference between his old salary and his new salary

You would think so, but that wasn't the case with that contract. That guy is UF's problem now.

Nope.

In his infinite wisdom, our esteemed ex-President (who is now enjoying a multi-million golden parachute of his own) dropped his trousers and grabbed his ankles for Jimmy Sexton during these 'negotiations' (can you really call them 'negotiations' when one side basically gets more than they asked for?)

IOW, no offset clause. Gustav gets 75% of his remaining AU contract, PLUS whatever Sexton squeezes out of UCF.
