So can someone summarize what all of this stuff means or is that even possible?

I mean, apparently the wheels are turning pretty fast as the season approaches even faster. There were individual TROs and group TROs and some folks just saying screw it, I'm doing it anyway. Chambliss doesn't fit any of those as he was just wanting a 23rd year of eligibility where many of the others flunked out of pro ball and wanted to go back to school to finish their Masters in Aeronautical Engineering while also playing sports. I must have missed a lot today.

The only thing you need to know is there is only one SEC program actively defying SEC rules and it’s A&M.

Nobody really knows what’s going to happen and they have all of their troll threads ready to go on multiple alters with multiple computers up ready to hit submit.

The NCAA, in its infinite wisdom, decided to not include the 2022 recruiting class in the new 5 for 5 rule. Now these players that only played 4 years are rightfully suing for a 5th year. So, the NCAA is pushing back and using the most hated coaches as a scapegoat and making it all about the coaches instead of talking about the people that are really responsible for the state college athletics right now. Its pathetic.

Courts supersede NCAA…the battle will be interesting…just hate all this is on the tip of week one.

I get all the arguments the 2022 class got screwed…pros should not be in college…kids coming in as freshman will get the shaft potential.

Get it over with and let’s play football

Basically if someone signs a contract in the pros they can’t come back. Except for when they do sign a pro contract and then sometimes they may be able to come back depending on what league that occurred in. Hope that makes sense.

And a "pro" for a couple weeks that made 75,000 can definitely not play with these "amateur" Qb's making 6 million. That would be an outrage

But if they only made a couple hundred bucks in mini camp per diem that’s ok.

Monken joked he now knew why Kiffin called & should’ve called him back. Big Ten ran with it and boxed in the SEC. Louisiana governor said don’t hate the player, hate the game

The SEC hates American born athletes so they banned anyone who is from America and tried to better themselves.

Instead they let euros and middle eastern pros invade basketball unimpeded.

It does seem rather arbitrary and prejudicial to let everyone else have the fifth year. That is the best argument for allowing these guys to play provided they aren’t technically under contract.

The eggheads in the NCAA have brought this all on themselves.

Then monken back peddled. Still no confirmation who called claiming to be lane.

My money is on pete getting drunk and calling. Like he did that clemson lb while he was in class
