With the possible exception of Notre Dame, the Alabama fan base is the largest band wagon riding, front running fan base in the country. Most of them really have no ties to the university, other than the fact that they might live in the state. Therefore, they really don't give a shite if their coach is an enormous shite bag, as long as he wins games. Most Auburn fans actually attended Auburn University.
