I'm sure they can find another PE group to give them another $100 for another 10% of revenue indefinitely. But I guess if you're not making money, it's a good deal right?

On a serious note, LSU might be the least likely AD in the country to actually go broke
When in need of financial assistance, e.g. these past 5 years, the University will inject whatever stimulus package is needed via misappropriation of property tax and student tuition revenues through backdoor slush funds. And if that well somehow dries up, there's always money in that whore from the swamp hospital system
But seriously, can anyone explain the Athletic Administration line item? A net loss of ($8,365,727) after winning the CFP, yet miraculously turned a $21,947,490 profit in 2024? ATHLETIC ADMIN revenues jumped 15,032.88%?? DURING THE BIDEN ECONOMY??

I didn't realize his contract was up before the USC game. USC fans didn't know either. Takes some of the fun off it though now.
Butch Jones really fricked Tennessee though. Since he was an analyst he didn't have the same state laws giving him a minimum. He only made $35k a year, leaving Tennessee to pay him over 4 million a year.

I assume some revenue hits in one fiscal year while the related expenses hit the next. But I’ll have my forensic accountants look into it
