In the heart of the bayou, where the Saturday air is thick,
They gather in purple, and they love to talk big.
With corn dogs and whiskey under hot southern suns,
A wild sea of Tiger fans, second to none.
But when the sun sets and the stadium lights roar,
The banter turns ugly, and the class hits the floor.
From the balcony high, they might let the urine fall,
On visitors walking beneath the stadium wall.
The "Tiger Bait" scream is in your face and loud,
A harsh, rowdy swarm of a purple-clad crowd.
If you wear the wrong colors, you might hear a jeer,
Or feel the sharp edge of a drunken taunt near.
They’ll curse out a referee, throw trash on the field,
With a pride and a fury that will not yield.
The passion is endless, the devotion is deep,
But it’s a rowdy, raw carnival folk that knows little sleep.
So enter the valley, or travel away,
But beware the wild Tiger on a Saturday.
