The Egg Bowl has had many shitty memories of shitty teams playing shitty ball. The shittiest moment had to have been 4 years ago when Dak shite himself on national television and had to run off the field with an "awkward gait" (as described by the announcers) during a drive to change his pants.

The series has had some really, really bad games on both sides... but that was a particularly bad one for State, and spelled the end of the Croom era.

Your questioning the wrong things.
You need to ask yourself what crazy conspiracy theory conjured up by a redneck who's been on the sauce too long you will choose to latch onto. There's a lot of this for either side. It's the game within the game that makes it all the more compelling.
