I was walking in to the super regional game last year and dropped 2 out of 3 of my tickets. I turned around and they were gone. There was a group of college aged dudes and I asked if they saw where they went. They had answered with a smirk that they didnt see them. It soon became clear that they had them. I even offered to pay like $50, call it a loss, and forget about it. But they swore they didnt see them. We bought 2 new tickets and sat in the old seats. When those dudes later showed up again and tried to sit by us, I was ready to fight. They swore they've never seen me before and that they bought the tickets off a ticket scalper. They were bitches though and weren't interested in fighting. They just were yelling how their dads were lawyers and judges as security broke it up and kicked them out.

wowwwwww. you should've beat the frick out of them

So many. Just the usual tiger bait bs u have to deal with. Not coming from their own private tent but when they come out in the street and get all in your face screaming it. I should be allowed to walk on a public road without that. If I come in your tent ok, go for it. The throwing of food at you sux. Your covered in pieces of crawfish and it stinks. I came out of a port a potty once and there was some idiot that jumped in my face and knocked my drink out of my hand and yelled ramma Jamma yellow hammer go to hell.. or something. I just wore the drink he knocked out of my hand and kept walking.

I used to go every year but stopped once I got married and had children. My wife went once and said she would never go back. I said me neither. I wasn't gonna subject her and my children to what went on there. We don't even go to the game in Tuscaloosa anymore. Its just not worth it. To the rest of the conference, I have no problems and will keep visiting u good folks ans having a great time but when a 8 year old kid walks up to my 6 year old daughter and says suck it and pounds his crotch while dad and mom stand there laughing, thats just not my scene. That's damn near criminal but I can't enforce laws. I can not go though.

It could be the best road trip but for whatever reason they have to act a fool. However, I will see the rest of u good sec folks at your venues this year and looking forward to it.

What's ironic is if u do to lsu fans what they do, they get all pissed. They had a thread on TD bitching about how they get treated at places.

I was at the lsu Georgia game in 04 and the Georgia fans were brutal. Brutal to lsu. Some lsu fans got pissed and one Georgia dude stood up and said you're just getting back what u give out. Touche. If you're gonna dish it, u can take it too.

They live by this "if u let us treat u like we want and don't say anything back, we'll give u a beer" let us abuse u, u take it, when we get tired of harassing u, we'll bless u with a bowl of soup but u have to take our abuse first.
Not sure I've ever seen a more cowardly act in my life.

Ive had nothing but good experiences at every SEC campus. The only thing close to a bad experience was a game at Alabama that State won (I believe in 2000) when a fat woman tried to start something with our group walking out of the game. We ignored her and went home.

Best visiting game experiences have been at Auburn and LSU. Fans went out of the way to make us feel welcome. Other places were neutral.

The only bad experience I ever had at a sporting event was when I was in middle school. My high school team and their rival were both having a good season and we were on the road for the last game against them. My dad had a new truck (the only new vehicle he had ever bought) have a blue streak painted down it during the game.

My school's color was blue. It was the damndest thing.

Luckily us New Orleanians understand the frustration one must have when growing up anywhere else in the state so we don't hold it against them.

SEC grads share a similar demeanor at games. Passionate but largely hospitable . It’s the sidewalk fans of every school that act like asses. The more sidewalk fans the more asses .

I was a CU ticket holder for ten years in their 90s heydays. Buffs fans could be really really vulgar in a way I’ve never seen in the SEC ( except for UFORFEIT). UFORFEIT is the only SEC ( along with Mizzou ) that does not feel “ southern “. UFORFEIT feels like Vinny is having his first beer .

If I were to choose which game to attend with my daughter and feel like nothing bad would happen I would choose Aggie or Bama. Those are the nicest fans imho . Ole Miss is close as are MSU fans. I’ve been to Bama and Starkville the most.

I take small children to games and am quite proud that we still have a very family friendly environment

Yeah Aggie is family friendly. But also vanilla- boring . That’s your curse - you are good peeps, but you put the rest of us to sleep. Any celebration outside your tightly wound parameters makes you angry. Lighten up, Aggie. Join the party.

You've never seen a more cowardly act in your life? You sound a little drama queenish. If it was so bad, Bama probably wouldn't sell out their allotment every time they come to Tiger Stadium.

Use to go to the UF-LSU games at TS in the 90's and fortunately for us, the Gators won each time. I never had any issues with the fans there at all.

In 2001, my wife and I took my 4 year old son to the game and we sat in the north end zone surrounded by mostly tiger fans. They were very nice to us and had my son saying "go tigers" before the game was over. Seeing Mike in the cage was a highlight for him. Gators won btw.

Fast forward. My son just finished his second year at LSU. Not sure if that game made the difference or not. Proud of him to leave Alabama and go there. He has gotten grief from some other students about being an Alabama native, including one of his drunk frat brothers kicking in his door after Bama beat LSU last year.

We beat the ever-living frick out of some frat bros that were being brutally offensive to an old Auburn couple leaving Tiger Stadium in '05.

I had to listen to my parents crow when they won the series over Arkansas earlier this month. I was nearly triggered.
