We'll see.
Looks like Loserana propaganda.

Of course they are.
It's so dumb it's all been about LSU. I think people genuinely know that it's widespread, but Lane is so admittedly easy to hate (and Will Wade) that LSU is just taking it on the chin.
I'm over it all. I don't care if these guys who got cut from NFL teams after being forced to make that career decision before 5/5, are on any team. It won't happen in future years.
It's just not that big of a deal. Let's play some football.

On3 and Pete Nakos are Louisiana propaganda?
That’s…..interesting.

Eh
Drawing the line at “signed a contract” is opening a huge loophole.

Honest question, how would they do that? Court is tomorrow and you have to have your roster set by Friday so how would they get guys on campus registered in school, etc.

How late do these schools allow “student athletes” to enroll?

Because they’ve all been talking to these guys already.
Everyone knew the 2022 guys would be ruled eligible, because they are. The whole court thing is for show and to legally clarify the guidelines. And to push Congress.
The average fan has no idea what’s being going on here. They just think “NFL players can’t go back to college” and “I hate Kiffin” without an understanding of the circumstances of the NCAA rule change. It’s not a blanket free-for-all for any NFL player to return to college…It’s 2022 class-specific.

How indeed? It’s almost like they’re getting their ducks in a row beforehand.
Weird.

The article doesn’t mention any names. Just a very brief, passing comment. So brief that I suspect there’s nothing to it.

Clickbait that makes Shannon Terry wealthier

So the difference is, Kiffin took a calculated approach already identifying who he wants and having roster spots open, whereas other SEC schools will be scrambling at the last minute to figure out who they can add

They (SEC and NCAA) can rewrite the rules before the season is over to close loopholes. They rushed and botched all of this, including the NCAA timing.
And it won't be nearly as big of a problem, if at all, in the future.
I really don't care what happens to these guys this year though, we have a great roster. Let's go win some games.

One of the replies to this on On3 was "says severl SEC programs want to add the player, but doesn't name the schools. Still mentions LSU."

Arbitrary rules and uneven application of them is exactly why the NCAA keeps losing lawsuits.
